Whether you are currently in a relationship or seeking one, the Personality Profiles have much to offer. If you’re in a relationship, the Profiles can help you and your partner to better understand each other’s differences. If you’re looking for a partner, the Profiles can help to clarify what would work best for you in a partner.
The Four Traits To start at the basic level, there are 4 traits – Mental, Emotional, Physical and Spiritual. We are all born with 2 of these traits dominant in determining how we react to and interact with the world and with others. The combinations are:
These define the 4 Quadrants which categorize personalities. We are born with our 2 dominant traits, and we spend our lives learning to develop the two unmanifested traits, typically through relationships. When you are with people having the same dominant traits, you’ll find that you think and react very similarly – it feels like you’re “speaking the same language.” It’s common to find ourselves in relationships with a partner who shares one trait but not the other. For example a stereotypical relationship is that of an Adrenal man with a Gonadal woman. The Adrenal body type is Mental / Physical, having excellent skills for going out into the world and making a living to support a family, while the Gonadal body type is Emotional / Physical, perfectly equipped for creating a home and family. They have the Physical trait in common, and learn from each other to develop the Mental or the Emotional traits. Read more about the traits and quadrants. The Relativity Quadrants The traits define 4 quadrants for personality types. The Relativity Quadrants chart shows which body types belong to each quadrant. Those body types near the center are more balanced in their traits, while those out towards the edges are ones where the traits shows up much more dominantly in their personality. ![]() The Personality Profiles Even those body types in the same quadrant, and close to each other in the Relativity Quadrants, have distinct characteristics to their personalities. Each of the 25 body types has its own unique personality profile. The personality profile gives a surprisingly detailed and accurate look at ourselves in an objective way. The Profile includes your passion, what motivates you, how you form relationships and interact with others. It even describes the “at best” and “at worst” sides of the personality – how we act when we aren’t quite “ourselves.” If you’re dating someone, read the “at worst” section of their Personality Profile – are these traits that you can live with? If not, consider staying friends. The profile also includes Core Emotional Issues – a set of themes for life long challenges that those sharing the same body type encounter. When you are aware of your own core emotional issues and do the self-work (see “Releasing Emotional Patterns with Essential Oils”), your own “triggers” relax and you become a better mate for your partner. How to Use the Profiles We have a tendency to expect that others think the same way that we do – the reality is that’s not true. Are you already in a relationship? Reading your partner’s profile can help to explain where they are “hard-wired” – innate traits, characteristics, behaviors, or ways of responding to you. When you understand why someone behaves in a certain way, it is easier to not take it personally, or to have realistic expectations of them. Expectations of each other is where relationships often struggle – whether those expectations are communicated or not. Learning how each other “ticks” helps to understand and appreciate each other more deeply. If you don’t already know your types, take the couples test. You’ll receive the full 60-page ebook for each type including the Personality Profile. (There is also a paperback option.) Are you looking for a relationship? Start with the aspects, read them again. Do you want someone who thinks the same way that you do? Or do you prefer someone who “balances you out” in certain areas? If you can choose a quadrant that would work for you, now you’ve narrowed down the body types to 9 or less. Next, read the profiles of those body types. These can be found in the Women’s Edition or Men’s Edition of “Different Bodies, Different Diets” along with pictures and other information for each body type. These are detailed enough to help you picture what a relationship would be like with each body type. Going Deeper In addition to the body type test, I have just produced short but detailed video courses to help identify which body type someone has. There is a women’s body types video, a men’s body type video, and one for both men and women. These videos provide a descriptive overview of each body type along with distinguishing characteristics. Peppermint Essential Oil
for Releasing Restriction and Failure |
||
![]() While we all experience both of these emotions, the fear of Failure is a core emotional issue also for the Adrenal, Brain, Liver, Thalamus, Thymus and Thyroid body types. Failure is stored in the thymus gland. The other side of Failure is surprisingly not success, but Unfoldment. The real value of an experience is not how well you succeeded, but rather what you learned – which is an Unfoldment in your growth or life experience. The lesson, or “way out” of Failure is “I accept growth.” The fear of Restriction is stored in the medulla, and is a core emotional issue not only for the Medulla body type, but also for the Pineal and Pituitary body types. The other side of Restriction is Mobility which is particularly essential in maintaining a positive emotional state for these 3 types. The way to shift Restriction into Mobility is with the affirmation, “I am open to new experiences.” Peppermint can also be used to release fear of Dependence, and Rigidity. Being dependent results in restriction, and rigidity limits your ability to grow and keeps you restricted. Dependence is the fear of being dependent on someone else. The other side is Freedom, which can often show up as a need or fierce desire for freedom. As a child, a common comment is, “I can do it myself.” Not only does this enable a child to learn and become independent, but teaches them to be self-sufficient. To shift Dependence into Freedom, use the affirmation, “I am self-sufficient.” The fear of dependence is stored in the thalamus gland and is a core emotional issue for the Thalamus body type. Rigidity relates to things being held or locked in place; the inability to move or be fluid. The alarm or access point on the body where rigidity is stored is the heavy metal point which is located on the front of the hip bones. The other side of Rigidity is Amusement. Peppermint is one of the oldest and most highly regarded herbs for health, digestion and respiration. The fresh, energizing aroma helps to combat mental and physical fatigue, giving a renewed feeling of vigor and vitality. Peppermint essential oil is a "must" for traveling. Add 1 drop to your drinking water to improve the taste, or even make tap water drinkable. On airplanes, adding a drop to a cup of water, ensures that you are inhaling it - giving you protection against airborne bacteria, fungus and virus. Drinking the peppermint water coats and soothes your throat. It also acts as a digestive aid and breath freshener. If you have the misfortune of being bitten by an insect, applying peppermint oil will stop the itching and enhance healing.
