A Simple Effective Detox Bath
Our Skin is our body's largest organ. It absorbs much of what it comes into contact with - including a wide variety of environmental toxins.
It is also an effective elimination organ (second only to the kidneys), releasing 28% of our body waste. This simple detox bath is a great way to release unwanted toxins from our body. Add one capful of Miracle II Soap and one capful of Miracle II Neutralizer Liquid to your bath and soak for 20 minutes. When the soap suds clear, you will see fatty acids and toxins floating on the surface. If you have dry skin, use Miracle II Moisturizing Soap instead of the regular soap. If you prefer, try a footbath instead, reducing the quantity of each to one teaspoon. |
| Achieving Personal Fulfillment in 2024 | ||
As we enter the new year of 2024, whether or not we set resolutions or goals for the new year, it’s natural to consider what we can improve upon from previous years. While we can’t always predict what will come our way, we can always ensure we are better prepared. And there are steps we can take to increase our personal fulfillment in life.
Personal fulfillment occurs on multiple levels – physical fulfillment, emotional fulfillment, and fulfillment in relationships. All these forms of fulfillment can be improved through increased understanding of ourselves, what works for us, and others. Improving Your Physical Fulfillment New year resolutions popularly involve weight loss, physique or body shape improvements, and improved energy or stamina goals. More often than not these are perceived purely as matters of self-discipline. In reality, these goals can often be achieved through better awareness of the individual needs of our bodies, rather than self-deprivation. When we understand how to properly nourish our bodies, many of these goals are within reach: we experience consistent energy and stamina; unhealthy food cravings stop; and even weight management becomes easier, putting physique improvements within reach. The crucial key is the realization that our bodies are different and have different needs. One diet does not “fit all”. In fact, the differences between body types is dramatic when looking at the nutritional needs. The meal plan that helps one body type to lose weight will often lead to weight gain for other body types. My own experiences with that realization during my college years eventually led to my discovery of the 25 Body Type System. The Profile for each body type carefully details which foods are best and how often to enjoy them, the best times of day to eat meals, sample menus, and many other details specific to each of the 25 body types. Another major difference between body types is our physical structure including musculature and weight gain patterns. Some body types build muscle mass and definition more readily than other types, so instead of competing with your workout partner, compete with what your physical structure is capable of achieving. Exercise is another area that varies greatly between body types – the best time of day and most effective type of exercise is described for each body type in the Profiles. Different body types enjoy different primary benefits from exercise – whether it be stress release, social enjoyment, or physical fulfillment. The most productive time of day to exercise varies by body type. Lymph body types are best with exercise before breakfast to get everything moving, Intestinal body types have the most energy for exercise between 11 AM – 4 PM, and Adrenal body types are best exercising at the end of the day after 5 PM to release excess cortisol built up from the stress of the day. Enjoying Greater Emotional Fulfillment When it comes to understanding ourselves on a psychological level, we don’t always “see the forest through the trees”. The path to improved emotional fulfillment is a better understanding of what motivates us, what we are passionate about, and defining our long and short term goals based on this understanding. An objective view of these aspects of ourselves can be invaluable. If you already know your body type, take a fresh look at your Personality Profile as you begin the new year. Perhaps this will provide new insights about situations that have frustrated you in the recent past. Sometimes specific emotional patterns hold us back in life, and prevent us from moving forward and fulfilling our goals. I wrote “Releasing Emotional Patterns with Essential Oils” as a self-help book for this reason. Instead of trying to avoid the undesired emotion, my technique encourages you to feel it, then transition into the “other side” – the positive aspect of that emotion that supports you in moving forward in a productive way. Once this is established through repetition it becomes automatic each time the undesired emotion is encountered in the future. The book is available on my website as well as Amazon. I have also produced a demonstration video to help. For more in-depth understanding of how to use the book, and the deeper layers of the technique, I have produced a variety of video courses. The perfect companion to the book is Oils Lookup, a very convenient tool for your phone, tablet or computer that allows quick lookups for the clearing patterns for over 500 emotions using 180 essential oils. There is a free trial so you can see how easy it is to use. Improving Fulfillment in Relationships Sometimes the key to improved relationships is simply understanding and accepting the differences in others. We do not all think alike; and expecting others to change into what we want them to be isn’t a likely solution. When you experience conflict with someone close to you, a good first step is to read their personality profile. Body type does correlate to personality. That person probably isn’t intentionally trying to annoy you – they may simply be operating with reactions that are part of their innate personality. Read their personality profile and try to put yourself in their shoes to better understand them. What if you don’t know someone else’s body type? “Different Bodies, Different Diets” includes pictures and descriptions of all 25 body types. It also includes the full Personality Profile for each body type. There is a Women’s Edition with just the women’s pictures, as well as a separate Men’s Edition. They are also available as a set. Trying to understand the person’s perspective may not always be enough to prevent you from reacting in ways you don’t want to. When you identify the emotion you’re experiencing, the release technique described above can again come in handy. It can elevate how we react emotionally to these situations. I wish you the very best for 2024 as you achieve your own personal fulfillment. Determining your body type is easy using my online body type test:

Oregano Essential Oil
For Transmuting Fear of Completion into Development |
Keeping with our theme this month of personal fulfillment, something that can interfere with our path forward is the Fear of Completion. Fear of Completion can show up as procrastination or holding on. It may be that we aren’t satisfied, didn’t get the desired outcome, or aren’t sure if it’s done. We may be holding onto something that doesn’t feel complete. The more we hold onto, the less we move forward. Letting go allows us to move into the other side of the Fear of Completion, which is Development. Development is about what we are creating. It also encompasses Self-Development, as we grow through creating an ideal situation. The way out affirmation statement is “I am conscientious”. We want to do things well and correctly. There comes a time to let go of things that we have completed well enough so that we can release and move on to what is next. The affirmation reminds us that we are being conscientious in considering ourselves complete with the situation at hand and moving on. Oregano is the essential oil for connecting with and releasing the Fear of Completion. Oregano is one of the most potent anti-oxidant essential oils. Native to the Mediterranean area and western Asia, Oregano is a small flowering shrub in the mint family. It contains carvacrol, which is the source of its aroma, and also causes a warming sensation on the skin. It is best to dilute with a carrier oil when applying topically to the skin. If Oregano essential oil irritates your skin, you may substitute Marjoram essential oil for releasing Fear of Completion. (Oregano is actually called wild Marjoram.) Oregano essential oil is also used to release Vulnerable. When Vulnerable we are receptive and teachable, and in this state we can complete the lesson of an experience. Vulnerable transmutes into Whole, meaning that we have gotten the complete experience or lesson. Oils Lookup is the perfect companion to "Releasing Emotional Patterns with Essential Oils."
