Pineal Body Type Personality Overview

The Core Emotional Issues of the Pineal Body Type are Control, Unknown, Restriction, Detachment

I have a strong, active mind, quick wit, and excellent verbal skills. I am always balancing my mental nature with my strong intuitive sense. I sense the emotional state of others, and sometimes confuse other people’s feelings for my own. I’m a giver and easily assume a caretaker role. I tend to blend in with the habits and patterns of those around me. I’m very sensitive to my environment, and nature and beauty help me feel at peace. I have lots of great ideas, but don’t always communicate them well to others, which sometimes causes me to feel different or misunderstood. My intellect takes precedence over my feelings, which makes intimate relationships elusive. I generally deny my emotions to avoid feeling weak or stupid. I expect a lot from others and even more from myself, constantly trying to outdo myself. I am creative, expressive and compassionate, and have difficulties with the harshness and practicality of the physical world. I readily perceive things that aren’t obvious to others, which makes me impatient with them. This makes it difficult for me to follow the leadership or supervision of others – I’m better off being the supervisor or working alone.

I tend to be sensitive and intuitive. I am also highly visual. I am prone to depression, mild to severe, when sunlight is unavailable. I have a need to know how and why things work, or why they are as they are. I am known for talking to collect or focus my thoughts. This helps balance the barrage of internal information from my intuitive side with my mental side. I need to have a sense of freedom to feel fulfilled. Ultimate freedom comes from my spiritual aspects and manifests as self-realization. Being mentally quick and alert, the challenge for me is to connect with my heart and integrate my emotions. I experience true freedom only when negative or self-limiting emotional patterns have been cleared.
