Gallbladder Body Type Personality Overview

The Core Emotional Issues of the Gallbladder Body Type are Past (Fear of repeating), Frustration, Resentment, Letting go

I am patient, calm and easy going. I enjoy connecting with people, but my shy nature prefers the company of family and close friends. I am quiet and reserved around people I don’t know very well. I am reluctant to venture into new social situations unless some else takes me. I like to nurture others. I am task oriented and would rather participate in a project that is already defined than to generate one on my own. I don’t like to stand out, make waves, or be disruptive. I life like to be consistent, structure and dependable. I approach change gradually. Although I am generally skeptical of the claims, assertions, and changing perceptions that permeate the socio-cultural environment, I am open minded to new ideas that make good sense or can be validated. I lean towards the traditional, conservative and conventional. I stick to the tried-and-true, and do what I “should” do. I have a tendency to control a situation through persuasion or even manipulation.

I am known for being dependable. I create a steady, stable environment. I prefer to work behind the scenes, doing the jobs that are essential to keeping a home or business running. My quiet, steady strength is often expressed in what appears to be a shy or timid nature. I am exceptionally reliable and loyal, and feel most fulfilled when I am being useful. Although I am an emotional person, I tend to keep my feelings to myself. I am most fulfilled when I can physically express my love for those around me by being useful. Physical activity helps me focus my emotions and sort things out. My solid, physical strength is reflected in my dependable, consistent nature.
