Decoding the Relativity Quadrants of the Personality Profiles

We are all familiar with personality tests and profiles. Each system as its own quadrants or graph that categorizes personality based on certain characteristics.

While we are all individuals with unique personalities, I discovered an interesting correlation while discovering the 25 different body types. There is a distinct personality profile which is remarkably accurate for those sharing each body type. This physiology-based personality profile has proven consistent over three decades.

The Quadrants

In the 25 Body Type System, there are 2 traits - Mental or Emotional, and Physical or Spiritual.

These traits form four Quadrants:
  • Mental / Physical
  • Mental / Spiritual
  • Emotional / Physical
  • Emotional / Spiritual

Each body type belongs to one of these 4 Quadrants, which describes their basic psychology.

Mental - Emotional is one trait. A person who is more Mental than Emotional will react by thinking a situation through first before deciding how they feel about it, while a more Emotional person will react first before thinking it through.

The other trait is Physical – Spiritual. To be more Physical means a preference for solutions that are tangible, and familiar – tried and true. A Physical type will also be task-oriented. A more Spiritually-oriented person is open and willing to try out new ideas and concepts.

Human civilization is attuned for the Mental / Physical types. The body types in the opposite quadrant – the Emotional / Spiritual – may face a greater challenge coping and adapting in a Mental / Physical society.

While we are born with the innate traits of our quadrant, part of our journey here is to learn to integrate the other two traits in order to better understand and relate to others.

The Relativity Quadrants

Within the Quadrants, each body type places in a specific location. This location indicates how strongly each trait is exhibited by each body type:

You’ll notice that some body types are near the center of the Relativity Quadrants, and others are near the outskirts of their quadrant. This indicates how strongly each of the traits are exhibited by their personality.

Those near the center – such as the Lymph, Eye, and Kidney body types – distinctly demonstrate the characteristics of their quadrant, but are easily mutable or adaptable to the other traits.

By contrast, those furthest from the center exhibit those traits very strongly and have the hardest time adapting to or understanding those in other quadrants.

For example, the Adrenal body type is opposite the Heart body type. Being far out into the Mental / Physical quadrant, The Adrenal is action- and task-oriented, using their physical prowess and mental capacity to accomplish what they set out to do.

Meanwhile, the Heart body type, being out on the far edge of the Emotional / Spiritual quadrant, is more focused on their connection with the people involved and how things are done, rather than in the accomplishment or task itself. Their focus is completely different from that of an Adrenal type.

Ultimately, part of our journey here is about integrating our non-innate traits, for personal growth and for understanding others.

Using the Relativity Quadrants

Improved self-understanding is the first benefit of the Personality Profile and the Relativity Quadrants. When people discover their body type and read their Personality Profile for the first time, the response is invariably one of surprise. To be described so accurately based on your physiology (body type) without taking a 100-question personality test seems to catch people off guard.

We tend to naively expect others to think and react the way that we do. Once we understand how differently other body types really do operate, we can begin to adapt how we relate to others for better interactions – rather than trying to get them to see things “our way.”

The Relativity Quadrants provides a graphic illustration of how others think and operate compared to us – how similar or different – and knowing that allows us to understand and relate to others.

Are You a Balanced Body Type?

Balanced Body Types are essentially playful and adventurous, balanced body types need balance between work and play, as well as all aspects of life

Women having Balanced body type can range from petite to tall, with small to medium bone structure, and a defined waist. They characteristically are either long-waisted with short-to-average legs, or short-waisted with long legs. Buttocks appear somewhat flat due to blending into thighs. Initial weight gain occurs in upper thighs, lower abdomen and waist, and hips.
Men having Balanced body type can range from average to very tall, often with wide hips. They are characterized by either a long torso with short legs, or short torso with long legs. Shoulders may be even with, to moderately broader than, hips. A natural abdominal layer may hide muscular definition in the torso even with exercise.

Achieving Personal Empowerment with Transformation Essential Oil

Negative beliefs form based on negative emotional responses to situations, and become stored in our cells from repressed traumas and events of the past.

These beliefs may tell us that we aren’t able, don’t deserve, or it isn’t worth it. These beliefs can discourage us from moving forward in life.

Negative beliefs have a tendency to accumulate, often unconsciously. Over time, these beliefs may cause us to become cynical, or feel trapped or stagnant. This can lead to unnecessary self-limitation in life. The truth is that these limitations exist only in thought and emotion.

Transformation essential oil blend helps transmute these negative emotions with positive and uplifting emotions, which allows the space for desired changes in behavior.

Transformation addresses several emotions – all of which can impede us from participating or moving forward in life. These emotions are:

Emotion Other Side Way Out Statement
Cynicism Understanding "I accept the truth"
Limitation Empowerment "I accept the totality of who I am"
Stagnation Transformation "I am empowered"
Trapped Free "I am free"
Can't Can "I accept all that I am"
Commitment (fear of) Manifestation "I am free"
What is the use? Valuable "I have value"
Heartache Complete "I am fulfilled"

Note how all these emotions have a similar theme, feeling, or vibration – they all embody a sense of limitation.

We each have unique talents and gifts to offer the world. These cannot be shared if we don’t believe in them, own them, and use them.

Transformation essential oil blend holds the frequency of the higher aspect of all these emotions (the “other side”), allowing us to transmute the undesired emotion – and release the limitations they represent. This technique is described in "Releasing Emotional Patterns with Essential Oils", and demonstrated in this video.

Transformation essential oil blend’s aroma empowers positivity and a sense of self-awareness to move forward and transform behavior with courage and an inner knowing of achieving your desires. It’s formulated to help move you from feelings of darkness into an environment of light, hope, and joy.

Transformation™ essential oil blend combines nine essential oils—Lemon, Peppermint, Sandalwood, Clary Sage, Sacred Frankincense, Idaho Blue Spruce, Cardamom, Ocotea, and Palo Santo.
