New Oils and Emotions are added to Oils Lookup in between releases of the Blue Book. This month I have compiled recent additions for you that have been added since the most recent edition was published.

Thalamus body types are organized perfectionists who are known for collecting and evaluating information. Take the quick quiz to see if you might be a Thalamus body type.

Surviving Air Pollution

I have been seeing an increase in symptoms from the effects of air pollution the past 6 weeks. In addition to the viruses, bacteria, and mold I typically see, there has been an increase in toxicity particularly involving the liver.

Here are some of the most common things I have found to be effective with this particular pollution period.

Nutritional Support

Eat beets. Why does this help? Because beets support the liver’s detoxification process. The liver is the main detoxification organ. Beets are either a Supportive or an Ultra-Supportive food for all 25 body types, and for this purpose can be eaten 3 days per week. They can be juiced with carrots and celery, boiled, pickled, canned, baked, or made into soup. (Scroll down for recipes.)

Cytozyme Parotid-TS by Biotics is an excellent supplement that supports the Parotid gland – the gland that swells when you have the mumps. The Parotid can secrete up to a half gallon of liquid daily when pollution levels are high. Take 2 daily with food and drink plenty of water. The parotid gland is also supportive to the immune system in fighting infections.

Chlorophyll Complex by Standard Process is another excellent supplement that supports the gut for healing, detoxification and digestion. In many causes, it can lower homocysteine levels and assist with B12/ Folic acid assimilation. Chlorophyll Complex is an excellent item to have in your first aid kit. If you get a cut, use scissors to cut the end off one of the perles and squeeze the liquid into the open wound, then pull the skin together and hold in place with a butterfly tape/bandage. Cover the wound initially because Chlorophyll will stain anything it contacts. Chlorophyll Complex takes the pain out, prevents infection and can cause the cut to heal without a scar.

Drink water. Good, pure water is essential to flushing toxins out of the body. To illustrate the importance of the role of water; the kidneys ideally eliminate 50% of the waste from the body. The skin is the 2nd largest elimination organ at 28%. When the kidneys are not able to fully function, the skin becomes overloaded and breaks out or becomes red, itchy or irritated. The lungs are responsible for 20% which is basically carbon dioxide, so it doesn’t help much for the general toxic load. The bowels are responsible for the remaining 2%. This gives you an idea of the massive amount of toxins that are eliminated daily. Drinking half your weight in ounces of plain water - not water in coffee, tea or soups which the body considers as food - daily is ideal.

Vitamin D, which is also a hormone, is a primary supporter of the immune system. Vitamin D is produced when the skin is exposed to sunlight. Even during summer however, especially at northern latitudes, it’s beneficial to supplement D with intake from a good source. Due to our heavy pollution levels, even people who spend a lot of time outdoors in the southern latitudes are still deficient in Vitamin D. Since vitamin D is an oil soluble vitamin, I have found Ultra-D 5000 by Apex Energetics to have the best assimilation and it is in a fish oil base. Fish oil supplies the essential fatty acids that are supportive to the adrenal glands, naturally increasing your energy and stamina, as well as enhancing your immune system.

Detoxification Tips

Regular detoxification is helpful to clear toxins from the body. For environmental toxins, a detox bath is effective. Add 1 ounce which is 2 tablespoons each of Miracle II Soap and Miracle II Neutralizer to your bath, then soak for 20 minutes. If a bath isn’t available or convenient, use a foot bath, reducing the amounts of each to 1 teaspoon. Because the body does detox through the soles of the feet, detox foot pads such as those made by KinoTox are a convenient and effective method of detoxification.

In the shower, using sea salt on the solar plexus helps clear your aura - like going down to the ocean - which is excellent when you are going through emotional stress or are around anyone else who is - which is why it is a good idea to use the sea salt daily.

PureLight bulbs use a NASA-derived technology to break down 99.9% of bacteria, virus and mold in the air, as well as on nearby surfaces. These LED bulbs use titanium dioxide to produce two super oxygen molecules – called superoxides and hydroxyl ions – to dissolve a wide range of air pollutants within an 8-12 foot radius. For more about these amazingly effective bulbs, see last month’s newsletter.

Supporting the Immune System

Peppermint Essential Oil provides excellent support for the body’s health system. You can inhale it, or add 1-2 drops to your drinking water and sip throughout the day. It can be applied to your neck, head, under your chin from ear to ear, the back of the neck, chest and forehead. If you are a Stomach body type, then Spearmint Essential Oil would be a better choice for you.

Sacred Mountain Essential Oil is supportive for the third chakra – the solar plexus – in protecting the system energetically. For more about this refer to my Chakra Harmony DVD, which is also available for streaming.

Another way to support the immune system is body movement including walking or exercise – this is especially true for Lymph, Medulla, Nervous System, and Thymus body types. Physical movement activates the immune system.

Beet Recipes

Beet Juice – great with added carrot and celery juice. Cilantro, and parsley may also be included

Beet Salad – add fennel, goat cheese, walnuts, arugula, blood orange, coconut oil, and pink salt

Roasted Beet Root – with carrot, parsnips, and potato in avocado or coconut oil with pink salt; bake 30-40 minutes at 350 degrees

Beet Sauerkraut – a good source of gut-friendly bacteria

Beet Hummus – 2 tablespoons tahini, 5 tablespoons lemon juice, 1 clove garlic, 1 tablespoon cumin, 1 tablespoon lemon zest, and sea salt & pepper to taste

Baked Beet Chips – 4 beets sliced, 2 tablespoons olive oil, 4 sprigs fresh rosemary, 4 sprigs fresh thyme, and sea salt & pepper to taste; bake at 350 degrees, 15 minutes per side

New Essential Oils for Clearing Emotions
peace_calming.jpg

Releasing Emotional Patterns with Essential Oils currently (2020 Edition) includes over 160 oils and over 550 emotions. Updates occur when oils I’ve referenced are discontinued, or when patients ask for a clearing pattern for an emotion not already in the book. I typically provide such updates in these newsletters.

Here I’ve compiled a few of the more recent updates since the latest edition of the book for your convenience. As a reminder, all updates are immediately added to Oils Lookup. They will also appear in the next edition of the book.

When an oil is discontinued, I test for a replacement oil with a similar vibration that will access and clear the emotion through the limbic system. Here are some recent updates:
  • Idaho Balsam Fir – discontinued; use Idaho Grand Fir for all emotions associated with Idaho Balsam Fir
  • Live with Passion – discontinued; use Relieve It to release “Trauma” and “Hurt”; use Magnify Your Purpose for “Pushing”; use Live Your Passion for “Self-Betrayal”
  • Inspiration – discontinued; use Freedom for “Fatigue”
When a patient discusses an emotion with me that isn’t already in the book, I determine where it is stored in the body, and test for an oil that will access and clear the emotion. Some recently added emotions include:
  • Exploited – this emotion is a new addition. Use Trauma Life Essential Oil to transmute this to “Empowered” using “I am true to my essence”
  • Burdened – also a new addition. Use Hyssop Essential Oil to transmute this to “Relief” using “I receive”
  • Remorse – was formerly grouped with Regret. Although both are cleared with Lemon Essential Oil, Remorse now transmutes to “Amends” using “I make amends”
  • Jealousy – was formerly grouped with “Left Behind”. Although both are cleared with Lemon Essential Oil, Jealousy now transmutes to “Directed” using “I focus my energy”
