The 25 Body Type SystemTM
September 25, 2015
Issue No. 27
In my August 2013 Newsletter I summarized the most defining characteristics of the Balanced body type. This month I present the Balanced body type in depth - what is unique about their personality, and how they relate to themselves and others. (Other prior newsletters are available in the Newsletter Archives.)
Purification essential oil has many everyday uses. The Balanced body type is motivated by acceptance - which a Balanced can achieve by releasing rejection using Purification, as explained below.
As always, I hope and trust that these newsletters help you enjoy a happier, healthier life.
Health and Happiness,

|The Balanced Body Type|
The Balanced body type means there is no ONE gland, organ or system that is dominant, but they all need to get along in balance in harmony. It doesn't mean you have balance, but that your life experience is about FINDING balance. BALANCE is a constant, ongoing goal. Not that every day is balanced between work and play, but that there is an overall balance. You may have a project that consumes your time and energy for a while, and then balance it with focused play time.
Balance is also achieved when you bring fun, laughter, and playfulness into the tragedies, and seriousness of life. The early life experience of the Balanced body type is often like that of "Casper the Friendly Ghost". For those of you who remember, the cartoon series was about Casper, the small, good, white ghost who was born into a family of big, nasty, black ghosts who were always doing bad things to Casper. No matter what the other ghosts did, Casper was always positive and loving, bringing light into even the darkest of situations. This is the essence of the Balanced body type.
Core Emotional Issues and Life Lessons
The dominant emotion of the Balanced body type is ACCEPTANCE. This generally manifests as a fear of not being accepted in relationships, starting at birth or early childhood. The triggering event may be real or perceived, and something you had no control over, such as being born a girl rather than the boy your father wanted.
Our Life Lessons are imprinted early on, so they make a deep impression, impacting our lives so we are forced to deal with them to make our lives work. This gives us direction and helps us learn why we are here and what we need to do during our lifetime experience. The LIFE LESSON for the Balanced body type is "to integrate all aspects of life." This means learning to embrace acceptance as well as rejection. It is learning to understand, accept and embrace the positive and negative sides of what appears to be a positive as well as a negative emotion.
The other side of acceptance is rejection. Typically we look at acceptance as a positive emotion and rejection as a negative emotion, But what if you have a fear of acceptance because you are not familiar with it and therefore don't know how to accept it? Rejection would feel more comfortable and you would set yourself up to be rejected in relationships because even though it isn't what you want, it is where you are most comfortable, since this is what you grew up with.
What motivates the Balanced body type is Acceptance--being accepted in a relationship. This goes along with the psychic wound of rejection and the lack of acceptance. The "way out" is "I accept all that I am". The essential oil that will hold the positive frequency of acceptance is Purification and it goes on the lung point, which is where rejection is stored in the body. See the demonstration video for this technique.
Fear of acceptance is connected with abuse and is stored in the emotional point on the forehead. The essential oil blend is SARA and the affirmation is "I can be accepted."
A good time to work with the emotions and essential oils is at night before you go to sleep. This allows your subconscious to do a lot of processing in the dream state. You can ask questions, request clarification, and get guidance and insights. Another good time is in the morning when you are setting your intentions for the day and/or around your meditation time.
PASSION is what gives you the greatest sense of joy and fulfillment. It is what makes life worth living. The passion for the Balanced body type is ADVENTURE, and people are an adventure. The Balanced body type typically loves to travel and particularly connecting with different people. They will generally select careers that involve a lot of contact with people.
The dominant senses for the Balanced body type are Mental and Spiritual.
To determine if your dominant sense is mental or emotional, ask yourself, "When push comes to shove and you are backed against a wall, what do you ultimately rely on, your head or your gut and your head is not the same as your intuition? Do you think first and then feel, or do you feel first and then think about it?" Your dominant sense is the one that comes first - the strongest one. We get to spend the rest of our lives strengthening and integrating the other side, so if you are not sure where you are now, look at how you used to be.
The next one is physical or spiritual and relates to what is more real for you, not your level of spirituality. "What is more real to you, what you can see, feel, and touch or ideas and concepts?" When you walk into a room, do you immediately make your presence known, or do you survey the room and decide where you want to go or be? The physical is very comfortable in the physical world and will often stand with a wide stance, rather than feet together which is more typical of those with a spiritual dominance. (See Quadrants for more information)
While the Balanced body type is generally quite gregarious, loves people and is often the "life of the party", they have a sensitive, quiet side that is generally only seen by those they really trust. This can manifest as a fear of commitment in a relationship or a need for more personal or alone time. Being out in nature is one of the best ways for the Balanced body type to recharge and regenerate.
