2020 Edition - Releasing Emotional Patterns with Essential Oils
I have just released the 2020 Edition of Releasing Emotional Patterns with Essential Oils.
This new Edition features 6 new oils - including Fennel, Kunzea, and Higher Unity. It also includes 6 new emotions - including Bullied, Berated, Escape and Refusal.
I have also included a convenient worksheet for the first time. I use this worksheet in my presentations - it's a handy reminder for clearing an emotional pattern you are working with.
The 2020 Edition paperback is now available on Amazon.com, or in the Kindle store.
It is also available on my website as a PDF ebook.
If you have an older edition (back as far as 2014), Addendums are available containing the additions for each Edition.
Have you tried the new
Oils Lookup yet? This works like an app - you can use it on your smartphone, tablet or computer. Just enter an emotion you're experiencing, an oil you're drawn to, or a body alarm point that's signaling you. The entire clearing pattern for the emotion, including the body charts, will appear.
All the oils and emotions in the new 2020 Edition are included, and in between printing new Editions of the book I add the newest oils and emotions here first. The best part is having this on-the-go, without carrying the book around.
|Surviving the Coronavirus|
It is easy to get lost in fear and to feel helpless with the news of what’s happened with coronavirus cases in other countries and to watch the situation unfolding on our own soil. However, it is important to remember that the human body was designed to be able to defend itself from viruses and other pathogens and to produce antibodies naturally. It also helps to remember that the majority of cases are mild.
The coronavirus only has receptors for lung cells, which means it only affects the lungs. The way for an individual to get infected is by way of nose or mouth – so either by touching one’s nose or mouth with contaminated hands or contaminated items, or by direct cough or sneeze of an infected person into another’s nose or mouth. Common sense preventative measures include good hygiene and proper-handwashing, and minimizing contact with those that are actively infected. However, there is much more that can be done to support the immune system.
We should not be paralyzed in fear nor should we be flippant- there are proactive steps we can take to help support the body’s natural response and to protect against infection. As the adage goes, “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” In order to strengthen the body and the immune system from the inside-out, start with the fundamentals—get adequate rest, wash your hands, use essential oils, nutritional supplements, mitigate EMF exposure, decrease stress which includes addressing emotional issues, and eat a diet supportive to you.
Essential Oils to Support the Immune and Respiratory Systems
The common attribute of essential oils is that they increase oxygen to the cells, so any oil you use will be beneficial. There are several oils that I am finding to be particularly useful in clearing the air for the current strains of bacteria, mold, fungus, and virus. They can be diffused or simply mixed with water in a spray bottle and used as an air freshener. The oils are Thieves, Peppermint, or a combination of Purification and Lemongrass.
Thieves oil – This blend is named after the legend of the French thieves who used a special blend of botanicals that protected them while they stole from those affected by the Black Plague. The story goes that the thieves were caught and were given a lesser punishment in exchange for their formula. You can put Thieves on your feet, inhale, or diffuse it. There is also a line of products that uses Thieves as a major component -including Thieves soap, Thieves waterless hand purifier, Thieves surface spray, Thieves Household Cleaner. I love the Thieves Lozenges and Cough Drops which I find to be superior to zinc lozenges.
Peppermint oil is perhaps the most versatile of the oils. Its cooling effect is anti-inflammatory, and soothing to the digestive system. It is great for the respiratory system as it is antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral. Place 1-2 drops on the tongue to improve concentration, alertness, and memory. Peppermint is a pain-reliever - effective in headaches, rheumatism/arthritis, scoliosis/lumbago/back problems, itchy skin including insect bites, varicose veins, eczema, psoriasis, and dermatitis. It is antitumoral, antiparasitic, a gallbladder/digestive stimulant and even used to curb appetite. To prevent or treat a sore throat, add a drop to a glass of hot or room temperature water (just be sure the container is glass, not plastic or metal). What I find works best is to take the largest glass you can find, add a little water, then 1 drop of peppermint, and fill the glass with water. This will disperse the peppermint oil, otherwise the oil will float on the top of the water and you will get a big glob of peppermint when you drink the water, which can be a bit overwhelming if you are not used to ingesting peppermint.
For the respiratory system, inhale, diffuse, or apply topically to hands, feet, neck, head and/or chest. Dilute 1 part peppermint with 2 parts vegetable oil and apply to temples, head, neck, chest or abdomen. Avoid contact with eyes, sensitive skin, or fresh wounds or burns. Do not apply to infants younger than 18 months of age. Add a few drops to your bath water to reduce inflammation.
In times of stress, vitamins and minerals are easily depleted. I have found the following products are valuable in providing additional support to the immune system:
Vitamin D3 – Studies have shown that taking Vitamin D3 can be more effective than Tamiflu or the flu vaccine. Vitamin D3 acts as a hormone in the body as every cell has a receptor site for it, making it important in supporting the body. Ultra-D 5000 by Apex Energetics is a highly absorbable form of Vitamin D that also contains key cofactors in a cod liver oil base.
Vitamin C, Vitamin A, and Zinc are also key to supporting the immune system. My product of choice is ZNAC by Professional Botanicals – this supplement consists of Zinc, Vitamin A, and Vitamin C. The maintenance dose is 1 capsule per day, or if experiencing symptoms, 1 every hour up to 8x per day.
Water - As always, drinking plenty of good quality water is important.
Environmental factors such as poor air quality and EMF/broadcast frequencies (RF) from cell phones and WiFi, and particularly the combination of the two, add additional stress to human body. Studies have shown that broadcast frequencies affect our bodies on a cellular level by effecting the voltage-gated calcium channels. We live in an era where EMFs are nearly impossible to avoid. All appliances, computers, TVs, cell phones, radio, digital devices, air conditioners, lighting, power lines, communication lines, air waves, and radio waves produce EMFs and interfere with the body’s own electromagnetic operating system.
Pure-Light Super-Oxygen LED light bulbs – are a way to help improve air quality. They break down 99.9% of bacteria, virus, and mold, and indoor air pollutants; dissolve pollen and other allergens; destroy odors without masking them; and use 70-90% less energy than traditional bulb. They are especially effective in the bedroom - leave them on during the day to cleanse the air, then turn off while sleeping.
The EMF Neutralizer offers personal EMF protection for smart phones with internet connectivity. Cell phones have been cited as one of the sources of the highest amount of electromagnetic radiation and we carry them around everywhere we go. Therefore, it is of the utmost priority that we protect ourselves from the radiation that these phones emit. The EMF Neutralizer offers this, and it can also be used in other parts of the home, such as control panels and WiFi routers.
If we can lessen the stress from the environment, it allows more energy to be diverted to where it is needed the most, whether for healing or strengthening the body.
Emotions and the Coronavirus
While bacteria are associated with negative or erroneous thoughts, virus is associated with old thought residue. Old thought residue shows up as things you have dealt with and thought you had handled but show up in subtle, insidious ways. The emotions associated with virus are: illusion, disintegrated and can’t. The viruses we are currently dealing with are associated with Can’t. Start paying attention to the words you use. How often do you say, “I can’t”? When you find yourself saying, “I can’t”, what do you really mean? Is it that you don’t want to, or that you are not able to? If you are not able to, why? The other side of “can’t” is “can”. Are you being honest with yourself about what you can do, especially if you connect with your full potential? The way to get from can’t to can is “I accept all that I am.” The associated oil is Transformation.
The driving emotions under can’t are Distrust and Betrayal. The other side of Distrust is Integrity, and the other side of Betrayal is Trust. Betrayal is ultimately the betrayal of one’s self. The way to shift betrayal to trust is “I have the courage to accept the truth.” The way to transmute distrust into integrity is “I honor truth.” The oil for both of these emotions is Forgiveness.
When in a quarantined situation, it's especially important to deal with family issues. Being in close proximity with people where the mutual agreement is to help with each other's issues, and having no other outlets, brings up the unresolved issues. This is an opportunity to raise the level of consciousness by dealing with ourselves.
|Are You a Gallbladder Body Type?|
Gallbladder Body Types are dependable, known for being helpful, loyal and consistent
Celebrities with Gallbladder body type include Bea Arthur, Maureen Stapleton, Jack Klugman and Harvey Korman.
Are you a Gallbladder body type? You might be, if:
If this describes you, you could be an Gallbladder body type.
Women with the Gallbladder body type are petite-to-average in height, have a straight-to-defined waist and are average-to-short waisted. Calves are thin to muscular, and shoulder width is even with hips. Torso is solid, with most of weight gain in lower abdomen. Weight gain begins in lower abdomen, waist and upper hips, with little or no gain in ghighs, legs, lower hips and buttocks.
Men with the Gallbladder body type are short-to-average in height, with medium-to-large bone structure and a short neck. Shoulder width is even with, or moderately broader than, hips. They present a strong, stocky torso with solid musculature, although a soft layer covers the abdomen and partially obsures muscular definition.
Personality, Relationships & Career
Gallbladder types are generally patient, calm, and easygoing. Typically soft-spoken, they impress others as being kind, gentle, and congenial. While Gallbladders enjoy connecting with people, they are basically timid and shy, preferring to be around their families and close friends. They nurture others by doing for them, gaining satisfaction by feeling useful. Being self-contained, they’re not easily swayed by outside circumstances and are generally true to themselves
Being task-oriented, they prefer projects that are pre-defined for them to do. They gravitate more to supporting roles rather than leadership positions. They prefer life to be steady and consistent. They are careful, steady, and reliable, with good stamina and follow-through. They can be depended upon to get things done in a timely manner, and are excellent support people.
The primary nature of Gallbladder body types is Physical / Emotional. (Read more about the Points of Connection.)
Exercise for Gallbladder types helps to clear the mind and provides a sense of doing something useful. Productive activities such as gardening, yard work, or cleaning are ideal. Walking, skiing, treadmill, bicycling, rubberband exercises, callanetics, swimming or rebounding are good if they’re enjoyable.
For more on exercising specifically for your body type, see the August 2017 Newsletter.
Nutrition, Diet & Weight Management
Gallbladder body types do best with high fats and low dense proteins, especially at dinner. They need fats to digest raw vegetables, especially salads - avocados, olive oil, sunflower seeds, or butter are good choices for them. Make lunch the largest meal - without fruit.
Paradoxically, Gallbladder types will have trouble losing weight if fats are less than 20% of their caloric intake. To lose weight, eliminate sugar; reduce crackers, breads, dairy and fruit (including fruit juice.)
Gallbladder is of the body types that can thrive on a vegetarian diet. For more about body type and vegetarianism, see the February 2018 Newsletter.
Complete nutritional information including food lists for the Gallbladder body type can be found on the Gallbladder Quick Reference Card, also available in ebook format.

Transformation Essential Oil
For Transforming Negative Beliefs with Uplifting Thoughts
Negative emotions are stored in our cells from repressed traumas and events of the past. Transformation blend helps transmute these negative emotions with positive and uplifting emotions, which allows the space for desired changes in behavior.
There are several emotions associated with Transformation: Can’t, Commitment, Cynicism, Limitation, Stagnation, and Trapped.
Can’t may show up as someone who is not being true to who they are or someone not standing in their power; “playing small,” in a sense. We each have unique talents and gifts to offer the world and they cannot be shared if we do not own them.
Transformation is a blend of Lemon peel, Peppermint, Royal Hawaiian Sandalwood, Clary, Sacred Frankincense, Idaho Blue Spruce, Cardamom, Ocotea Leaf, and Palo Santo Wood essential oils.
Diffusing is the most effective use. It can be diffused up to 1 hour, 3 times per day. It can also be applied topically on Vita Flex points. It can also be diluted, 1 drop with 1 drop of V-6 or olive oil and apply as needed.
Caution: Keep out of reach of children. For external use only. Keep away from eyes and mucous membranes. If you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication or have a medical condition, consult a health professional prior to use.
