The 25 Body Type SystemTM

Issue No. 31

Dear Readers,

Happy New Year and Best Wishes for a happy, healthy 2016!

Thanks to all those who attended the January 2 class in Temecula! It was wonderful to meet you all. Stay tuned for upcoming announcements for future classes.

This month we continue exploring the emotional differences of the 25 body types with the Gallbladder body type.

Two core emotional issues of Gallbladder body types are the fear of repeating the past, and resentment. These emotional issues can be released with Forgiveness and Lemongrass essential oils respectively, as discussed below.

I also take a look at MinecraftTM, an extremely popular children's video game which has sold well over 70 million copies - and the effects I have heard from parents.

As always, I hope and trust that these newsletters help you enjoy a happier, healthier life.

Health and Happiness,
Dr. Carolyn Mein

The Gallbladder Body Type

Are you reliable, loyal and dependable? Do you feel most fulfilled when you are being useful? Are you happiest when you have a consistent, steady, stable environment? Do you prefer to work behind the scenes, doing jobs that are essential to keeping a home or business running? Would you rather undertake a task or project that is well-defined and already laid out for you, rather than generate one on your own? Is peace and tranquility a high priority for you? If this describes you, you could be a Gallbladder body type.

Core Emotional Issues

The points of connection for the Gallbladder Bodytype are Physical and Emotional. They generally have strong, sturdy bodies with good physical stamina and endurance. Task-oriented, Gallbladders relate best to what can be physically seen and touched. They derive a great deal of personal fulfillment from nurturing others by doing.

Even though Gallbladders are emotionally based, they have difficulty dealing with emotions – theirs as well as others’. They’re apt to “control” their emotions by suppressing them and denying their existence or responding to negative emotions with either stock, ready-made words of reassurance or by “prescribing” some ethical rule, or “should”. These “shoulds” come from what they have been taught rather than from their own experience, so they may come across as rigid or dogmatic. The core emotional issue for the Gallbladder is the fear of repeating the PAST. The LIFE LESSON for Gallbladders is “to learn from all of life’s experiences.” The way to learn is through AWARENESS.

Awareness is achieved by turning problems over to a higher power and being receptive to hearing the answers from within. Listening to the “still small voice” enhances their Spiritual connection and allows new awarenesses, solutions and opportunities to manifest. This fulfills the life lesson of learning from all of life’s experiences.

Motivation and Passion

The Motivation for the Gallbladder body type is FULFILLMENT which comes from fulfilling their Passion for being USEFUL. Being useful allows them to emotionally connect with others by nurturing them in a tangible way. Basically timid and shy, Gallbladders prefer to be around their families and close friends. With an altruistic nature, they are at their best when they are being of service to those in their world.

Their strengths include hard work, orderliness, common sense, and persistence. They are conscientious, practical, dependable, and task-oriented. Careful, steady, and reliable, with good stamina and follow-through, they can be depended upon to get things done in a timely manner, and are excellent support people. Gallbladders are also calm, congenial, and considerate. They like to fit in with those around them, and generally get along well with others. Being self-contained, they’re not easily swayed by outside circumstances and are generally true to themselves.

Core Emotional Issues

The core emotional issue for the Gallbladder body type is the fear of repeating the PAST. The other side is AWARENESS and the way to achieve awareness is “I learn from all of life’s experiences.” Alarm point is the gallbladder, located on the lower right chest and on the palm of the right hand. The essential oil is a blend called Forgiveness, which was formulated to help release negative memories and allow one to move past emotional barriers, attain higher awareness, forgive and let go.

FRUSTRATION, another core emotional issue for Gallbladders, is stored in the common bile duct, located 2 inches lateral to the gallbladder. The essential oil is Lemon. The other side is ACCOMPLISHMENT and the way to achieve accomplishment is “I move beyond my limitations.”

RESENTMENT is found in the hepatic duct, located 2 inches medial to the gallbladder. The essential oil is Lemongrass and the other side is EMBRACEMENT. The affirmation is “I am wanted, loveable and I am whole.” Resentment is anger and ill will in view of real or perceived wrong or injury. Anger is stored in the liver, and Forgiveness releases the fear of the past reoccurring. To ensure the transformation, let go of your expectations and connect with your Divine self, knowing you are wanted, lovable and whole.

The fear of LETTING GO is found in the Bladder. The gift or the other side is HAPPINESS, the oil is Sage, and the way to get there is, “Let go and let God or Let go and let live.”

MinecraftTM: The Effects of Certain Video Games
I have a patient who brought her son in because he was having bad dreams. The dream would be that someone was watching him and that someone would get or kill him. Sometimes he had a hard time waking up from the dream, like he was caught in an in-between stage.

She also noticed a change in his behavior. He went from being a sweet, good natured, kind, obedient child to throwing temper tantrums, screaming, hitting and kicking. He lost his self-control. He was no longer able to control his impulses: he was emotional, crying and screaming. Her son was especially hysterical, defiant, and aggressive when she asked him to get off the video game Minecraft. He was obsessive about playing it and defensive about putting it down.

His grades, which had been excellent, were deteriorating. His reading was suffering. It was hard for him to think, to concentrate, and focus was difficult. He had a hard time following directions. He lost his self-direction and was no longer able to “get ready for bed” on his own.

I noticed a lot of stress on his solar plexus, at the 3rd chakra area, which is where we connect with the world around us and also where we connect with mass consciousness. I used Sacred Mountain on the solar plexus and cleared his energy field. His mother no longer permits him to play Minecraft and allows him to only play the safe video games, including basketball and soccer. He is active in sports and has returned to his natural, sweet, loving self. He is able to get restful sleep and his grades are back up to normal.

This was surprising to me because Minecraft seems innocuous - it is not a game that involves weapons, killing, or conflict. In fact, it is parent-approved and has sold over 70 million copies.

What is your experience with Minecraft? Have you noticed sleep or behavior changes?

A movie that does a good job of explaining the psyche of children is the animated Inside Out. While it is billed as a kids movie, it has great points for adults.

Lemongrass Essential Oil

Lemongrass Essential Oil supports overall well-being, and the digestive system. It is my first choice for tendons, ligaments, and joints. Lemongrass can be used to release Resentment, which is a core emotional issue for the Gallbladder body type. It can also be used to release Should ("should do this, should do that").

Lemongrass has powerful antifungal properties, is antibacterial, anti-parasitic and anti-inflammatory. It may regenerate connective tissue and ligaments, and may also dilate blood vessels, improve circulation, and promote lymph flow. It is often used for purification and digestion, bladder infections, respiratory/sinus infections, fluid retention, varicose veins, and Salmonella. Its fragrance promotes psychic awareness and purification. Applications: Dilute l part Lemongrass with 4 parts vegetable oil, apply 1-2 drops on location and on chakras. It may also be directly inhaled and diffused.
