This month I present Superfoods for 2025 which are especially beneficial to all 25 body types.

Do you have a childlike, bubbly quality that brings joy to those around you? Do you tend to be the life of the party? Do you tend to gain weight very easily? Then you could be a Pancreas body type.

Betrayal is a common emotion most of us have experienced. Transmute Betrayal into Trust with Forgiveness Essential Oil, which can also help with several other related emotions.

My 12-week Practitioner’s Certification course “Emotional Wisdom with Essential Oils” begins on October 1. This will be the 6th run of this course which has been popular with individuals as well as practitioners.

2025 Superfoods for Your Body Type





Many sources publish annual lists of superfoods – where staples like olive oil, salmon, almonds, kale, blueberries, and more exotic choices are frequently named. So – what is a “superfood”? Although there is no formal definition, this term generally means nutrient-dense natural foods which provide specific health benefits.

Here is my superfoods list – including indications for specific body types. I’m not ranking them (they are simply in alphabetical order) – choose the ones that appeal to you.

Beets – beetroots are high in folate for heart health, and copper for energy production. Their nitrates boost athletic performance when consumed a couple hours beforehand. They are also anti-inflammatory, and they clear out the liver. Their health benefits prevail whether they are boiled, steamed, juiced or roasted. Beets test well for all 25 body types, especially the Liver body type.


Chia seeds – these tiny black and white seeds from the central American salvia hispanica plant are notably high in protein and omega-3 fatty acids, providing vegetarians and vegans with a good source for these nutrients. They support heart health and help to balance blood sugar levels. They are particularly high in protein, fiber, calcium, iron, magnesium and zinc. They have a very mild flavor and are highly versatile. Grind them and add to smoothies; or rehydrate in water, milk or plant-based milk for use in recipes.


Dark Leafy Greens – not everyone loves the taste of kale, so I am including arugula, bok choy, collard greens, spinach and turnips here. Each is different both in the nutrients supplied and the health benefits provided. An excellent plan is to rotate these through your weekly diet. They are all great in soups, omelets, sandwiches, stir fry, and other preparations. A high quality source is Total Body Greens, which includes spirulina and chlorella. The chocolate flavor is the most popular protein powder choice among my patients, and it’s easy to use – can simply be mixed with water when you’re in a hurry. This is also a good way to get kids to eat greens.


Fermented Foods such as kimchi, miso and kefir, supply probiotics for gut health and boost immunity. They provide enzymes and vitamins that improve digestion and nutrient absorption. I have seen great results among patients from kefir. For a pure and convenient source of fermented foods, Premier Research Labs makes high quality powders with fermented beets, turmeric, mushrooms, and greens.


Fonio – this gluten-free ancient grain from west Africa is highly sustainable as it grows in harsh climates without depleting the soil. It’s a great alternative for those who don’t do well with quinoa, and it cooks in just 5 minutes. It’s among the highest grains for calcium content, perfect for those who don’t consume dairy, and its amino acids are supportive for vegetarians and vegans. It supports energy production, cells, tissues, and many other health aspects.


Greek yogurt – this is yogurt which has had some liquid drained off for a better texture. It provides excellent probiotics, calcium and protein, and stimulates the immune system. The texture and consistency make this a healthy substitute for mayonnaise, and for use in smoothies and dips, and even cooking. Since it is full fat it is excellent for body types such as Eye and Gallbladder which don’t do well with low fat dairy products.


Jackfruit is a tropical fruit found in Asia, Africa and South America. It belongs to the same family as figs and mulberries, and an individual fruit can reach 40 pounds. Its flesh and seeds are edible, and often used as a plant-based meat alternative. This is good for the heart, blood pressure, inflammation, and cholesterol and blood sugar levels. Although sweet when ripened, its unripe neutral flavor lends itself well to savory dishes, often used as a vegan alternative to pulled pork or chicken.


Seaweed provides iodine and tyrosine for thyroid health to produce hormones, and antioxidants and omega-3 for heart and brain health. Some seaweeds contain spirulina and chlorella, proteins which contain the full range of amino acids. Sealogica contains seaweed harvested off the coast of Newfoundland in very deep waters, the cleanest source available, as well as 7 sea vegetables. Seaweed is supportive for all 25 body types, in particular the Thyroid body type.


Pink Salt – while not specifically a superfood, pink salt gets “honorable mention” because we need good quality salt. The body creates hydrochloric acid from salt, which is necessary for digestion and assimilation. Pink salt contains trace minerals and is processed without the machines which introduce heavy metals such as nickel.


For all these superfoods, check your food lists in your Profile and Diet booklet to see if they are Ultra Supportive or Supportive for you – and how often you may consume them.

Practitioner Certification Begins October 1


The "Emotional Wisdom with Essential Oils" video course for Practitioners will run again beginning on October 1, 2025.

This 12-week course is an intensive study on "Releasing Emotional Patterns with Essential Oils." It also provides many tools and techniques for running a Practice as a therapist, counselor, or coach.

The course includes extensive materials and lifetime access to many hours of interesting and informative video. There are 3 live calls with myself and my co-host LeeYen Anderson.

Although designed for Practitioners, the many individuals who have taken this course say that it has helped them personally and also with their relationships.






Are You a Pancreas Body Type?

Pancreas Body Types are bubbly and bring joy to those around them





Women having the Pancreas body type are short to average in height with small to average bone structure. Hair frequently thin or fine. Predominantly rounded appearance. Small hands and often small feet. Little to no weight gain from knees to feet, and elbows to hands. Initial weight gain is lower body and is firm, not flabby. Additional gain all over.
Men having the Pancreas body type are average to very tall in height with medium to large bone structure. Shoulders even with, to moderately broader than, hips. Short, thick neck. Thick, straight torso. Abdominal musculature is solid with a soft layer that makes muscular definition difficult.

A vegetarian diet does provide adequate nutrition for the Pancreas body type when healthy.

Pancreas body types can lose weight by avoiding bread, alcohol, caffeine, sodas, salt, sugar and dairy; rotating foods; exercising 1 hour 6 days per week; and not eating after 7:00 PM.

The passion of Pancreas body types is joy, and they are motivated by insecurity.

The Core Emotional Issues for the Pancreas body type are Fear of Betrayal, Fear of Being Wrong, and Letting Go.

Forgiveness Essential Oil
Transmuting Betrayal into Trust

The first thing that generally comes to mind when we hear the word betrayal is infidelity. A close second is a friendship that has gone bad. In both cases, it's a trust that has been broken. What caused the trust to be broken? What led up to the betrayal event? What caused the relationship to deteriorate? What was your part in the experience? What can be done so it doesn't happen again?

The other side of betrayal is trust and the affirmation or lesson is "I have the courage to accept the truth."

Betrayal doesn't just suddenly happen. There is a build up of unresolved conflict or tension which is ignored or denied. Most relationships are constructed around expectations. Many of these expectations are one-sided and have never been mutually agreed upon. Some are based on behaviors that were appropriate initially, but feelings and situations change. Relationships are dynamic, they grow when they are fed and nurtured; they deteriorate when there is rigidity and a lack of understanding.

The emotion of Betrayal is stored in the pancreas, and Betrayal is a Core Emotional Issue for the Pancreas body type. The pancreas is responsible for the production of digestive enzymes and insulin which regulates blood sugar levels. Pancreas problems can be associated with not enough sweetness in one's life. (Betrayal is also a Core Emotional Issue for the Hypothalamus body type.)

The essential oil, Forgiveness, holds the positive frequency of trust, assists you in forgiving yourself and others, as well as, giving you the courage to accept the truth.

Forgiveness is an essential oil blend, which was formulated to help one release negative memories, negative emotional barriers, hurt feelings, insults, betrayal, distrust, repeating the past, revenge and self-denial. It allows attainment of higher awareness by assisting to forgive and let go. The fear of repeating the past is stored in the gallbladder, making it a useful oil for anyone with gallbladder issues. (It is also a Core Emotional Issue for the Gallbladder body type).

Forgiveness can be used to transmute other emotions – Bitterness, Distrust, Revenge, Self-Denial, and Unforgiveness. You’ll notice that these emotions all have a similar vibration, or could result from a Betrayal experience.

Forgiveness is a blend containing Rose, Melissa, Helichrysum, Angelica, Frankincense, Sandalwood, Lavender, Bergamot, Geranium, Jasmine, Lemon, Palmarosa , Roman Chamomile, Rosewood and Ylang Ylang.

How to Use:
  • Diffuse, directly inhale, or add 2-4 drops to bath water
  • Apply 1 to 2 drops behind ears, on wrists, neck, temples, navel, solar plexus, or heart
  • Dilute 1 part oil to 15 parts vegetable oil for a full body massage
  • Put 4-8 drops on cotton ball and locate on vents
NOTE: Possible skin sensitivity. Avoid contact with eyes.
